For those of you wondering if I’m still alive, I sure am. I took a few weeks off of posting on here mainly because I’ve been swamped in my business and had to put Blog About Beer on the back burner for a few weeks.
The good news is that I’m back and ready to start taking this blog to the next level.
50 Beer Challenge Update
For those of you who have followed my 50 beer challenge, I didn’t quite make it but I’m still not giving up.
I realized it is a lot harder to get beers from other parts of the country without spending a lot. I did do a few beer trades, but shipping was like $10-$20 each package which adds up quickly so I had to stop.
I still have 18 more states to obtain and hope to get my challenge complete by the end of the year.
What I’m Brewing
While I am nowhere near an advanced home brewer, I still enjoy brewing good beer. My brewing partner and I just brewed a Pumpkin Spice Ale and an IPA. They are going to be delicious.
My goal for the next year is to step up my homebrewing game and brew a lot more. Brewing is by far the greatest hobby in the world.
What Do You Want From Blog About Beer?
While I enjoy doing beer reviews, I want to make sure the content on this site is useful to you the beer drinker. Through my challenge 90% of the content was reviews and I want a little more diversity in the future.
My goal with this site is to not just be another beer review blog, but a place that has some great content for fans of beer.
So my question to you is what do you want out of this blog? Product reviews? Videos? Brewery News? How To’s? Beer Education? Interviews? Or something completely different.
