Peak Organic to Sponsor Farm Aid ’07

Leading brewery Peak Organic Brewery (located in Portland, Maine) has announced their sponsorship of Farm Aid 2007: A Homegrown Fesitval in New York City on September 9th. Peak Organic praised Farm Aid “for forging the urban-rural partnership needed to ensure the survival of the American family farmer”.  All three of Peak Organic Brewing’s beers–pale ale, amber ale, and nut brown ale–will be on tap at this year’s Farm Aid Event in the Big Apple.

“By holding the Farm Aid concert in the Big Apple, Farm Aid is giving us all a wake-up call. It is time for urban and rural communities to work together to ensure the survival of the U.S. family farmer. Family farmers, especially organic farmers, are creating the highest quality products in agriculture today, and they deserve to be supported. Thank you Farm Aid for leading the way.” – Jon Cadoux, craft brewery and founder of Peak Organic Brewing Co.
