The British Guild of Beer Writers is giving writers, broadcasters, photographers… well really, anyone involved in media, the chance to enter their beer-related work in a series of contests – and win a £1,000 prize.
Nominations and entries are now being sought in six categories and one winner will be named the British Guild of Beer Writers‘ Beer Writer of the Year.
Categories include the Cains Finest Lager Award for Regional Journalism, The Bishops Finger Beer with Food Award for Beer and Food Writing, and more. The there is also a travel bursary up for grabs, which includes £1,000 and a trip to a brewery in the Czech Republic. The winner will be asked to write a feature on wherever they visit, which will be published on the Guild’s website.
