Who exactly am I?  Well, I’m from Ridgefield, WA which is a suburb of Portland, OR (an amazing beer city). I am currently the co-founder of Volume11 marketing agency.  I’m married to the greatest woman in the world and have two amazing daughters.

My free time is spent weightlifting, eating ridiculously spicy foods and keeping up with the Seattle Seahawks and Portland Trail Blazers.  I am an home brewer and a huge fan of good beer, but not what you would consider a beer snob.

Blogging About Beer Since 2007

The site was launched in August of 2007 as a resource for better beer, beer news and fun beer stuff.  Blog About Beer was originally created by Luke Livingston, founder of Baxter Brewing in Lewiston, Maine. In June of 2010, I bought the site from him as he opened his brewery as a way to get my foot in the door in the beer industry, as well as learn and share my knowledge of great beer. It’s been a blast.
