Mashable.com today lists 13 of the web’s best (in their opinion, not necessarily in mine) resources for beer geeks lovers.

Do you like beer? Are you one of those folks who always drinks the same brand, or are you willing to try something new? If the answer is the latter, you’ll be happy to know that there’s a wealth of beer-related sites out there with great info for beer connoisseurs. Let the taps flow!

To check out their list — which includes, of course, BeerAdvocate, AllAboutBeer.com, BYO.com and the newcomer: BeerSuggest.com — click here. What would you add to the list?

  1. Thanks for pimping beermapping.com! 🙂

I was a bit slighted that we missed being on the list, but then when I went back through and saw some of the options on there, I realized that the list was not compiled by someone who really spent much time on beer sites.

chugd and coastr haven’t had site or feature updates in more than a year. A few on the list are really great sites, but some there seem to have been picked by someone who spent a couple hours of their afternoon doing google searches.

  2. No problem. Figured you deserved to be on the list a lot more than some of the ones that did make it (like those you mentioned). Just trying to do my part… Cheers, guys!

  3. Beercalculus, and its companion Hopville, are invaluable as a homebrewer. My girlfriend and I had been discussing building a similar site for months, but I congratulate them for thinking of it first.

  4. I’m afraid I don’t know them but I’ll definitely have to check each out (the definitely have cool names, I’ll give them that); thanks for the tip!
