For those of us in the North East, Vermont’s Magic Hat Brewery is a familiar face. Their many mixed twelve-packs line grocery and package store shelves and their Number 9 is on tap at even the smallest of bars. But, craft beer fans in the South and Midwest are about to be able to enjoy a lot more Magic Hat themselves.
Magic Hat announced today that the brewing company is doubling the capacity of its brewery in South Burlington, VT in order to be able to expand its distribution into those regions of the country. Magic Hat will install a new packing line and brew house, expected to be complete by Fall 2008. The company says it’s seen four years of double-digit growth. Congrats Magic Hat!
